Many of us have grown up seeing the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. Presently the MGM classic has been reinvented on stage with the Broadway musical Wicked. Wicked the Musical is a untold tale in regards to the witches of Oz. Based on the 1995 novel Wicked: The Life & Times of the Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, the story occurs previous to Dorothy Gale’s arrival to Oz. Wicked shows the story of two improbable classmates and friends who develop to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North.
