MP calls for greater choice of cherished numbers. James Duddridge has called for a change in legislation to allow people to choose whatever they like for their personalised number plates. At present drivers can only choose from a preset list of registration numbers they are allowed to issue and sell, they cannot just make up whatever they would like to have on their cars.

Once it was so, and at the top end it still is with numbers like F1 and S1 worht many hundreds of thousands of pounds, however with registrations starting at just a couple of hundred pounds there is potentially a number ther for everyones pocket.Some of them are awful and have been called chavplates but some do the job for little money.
